• Do not machine wash, soak, bleach or wring, as moisture and friction can damage the delicate fabrics and embellishments.
• Handle the Zardozi, pearls, sequins and mirror work gently; avoid rubbing against rough surfaces or sharp jewellery.
• Iron on very low heat from the reverse side, using a protective cloth. Avoid direct heat on embroidery and embellishments.
• Avoid direct or prolonged steam exposure, particularly around the hand-painted motifs and embellished neckline.
• Store the outfit in a cool, dry place, preferably wrapped in soft muslin to protect the metallic sheen and delicate detailing.
• Store the dupatta carefully to prevent snagging, creasing or damage to the hand-painted floral work and scalloped border.
